Nvidia Launches $5K 64GB Mini PC Amid Ongoing Memory Shortage
Nvidia has announced a new version of its DGX Spark mini PC, featuring 64GB of memory. This move is in response to the ongoing memory shortage that has plagued the industry for some time.
The new 64GB model will launch on October 23rd at a price point of $4,999, which is a significant increase from the original 128GB model's launch price of $3,999. The 128GB model's price has now risen to between $5,999 and $9,000, depending on storage capacity.
Nvidia claims that the new 64GB model keeps the platform at an 'accessible' price point, despite the reduced memory capacity. However, the company notes that users can cluster multiple DGX Sparks together for increased AI computing power.
