Nvidia Leads Tech Giants to Asian Market Gains

Asian markets mostly saw gains on Friday after Nvidia and other tech giants led an advance on Wall Street. The Kospi in South Korea was a notable exception, falling 1% to 6,841.50.

The Nikkei 225 in Tokyo climbed 0.8% to 66,682.88, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 0.3% to 25,648.40. The Shanghai Composite index was nearly unchanged at 3,956.28.

Nvidia was the strongest performer on Wall Street, rallying 8.7% after beating profit and revenue estimates for the latest quarter. The company also gave forecasts for upcoming revenue growth that topped analysts' expectations.

CEO Jensen Huang said 'AI has reached its inflection point... it's doing useful work. Its tokens are productive and profitable.'
