Nvidia Leads the Pack Among 'Magnificent Seven' Stocks
The 'Magnificent Seven' stocks are among the largest companies in the world. This group consists of Nvidia, Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta Platforms, and Tesla. However, not all seven companies make for good buys.
According to analysis, the top three picks from this group are Nvidia, Alphabet, and Amazon. These companies have been successful long-term stories, but their returns will likely vary in the future.
Nvidia is the largest company at a $5.4 trillion market capitalization and is undervalued. The AI arms race is intensifying, with big five AI hyperscalers expected to spend $1.3 trillion on data center capital expenditures in 2027. Nvidia is the primary supplier of AI computing units and estimates 70% revenue growth for 2027.
Alphabet and Amazon are also investing heavily in cloud computing, each spending $220 billion and $200 billion respectively this year on data center capital expenditures. Their investments have paid off, with Google Cloud's revenue rising 82% in Q2 at a 36% operating margin. AWS saw a 37% growth rate in Q2, which is expected to accelerate over the next few years.
