Nvidia, Okta, Cognex, Delta Featured on CNBC’s Final Trades
On CNBC’s Halftime Report Final Trades, Bryn Talkington of Requisite Capital Management highlighted Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) as a stock poised for significant growth. Her bullish outlook was backed by Cantor Fitzgerald analyst C.J. Muse, who reiterated an Overweight rating on Nvidia and maintained a $350 price target as of October 1.
Nvidia’s stock recently hit a record high after the company announced the largest share buyback program ever, totaling $150 billion. This comes on top of an existing $80 billion buyback program. The tech giant, led by CEO Jensen Huang, will also be in focus ahead of earnings reports from key suppliers like Taiwan Semiconductor (October 15) and SK Hynix (October 27).
Other stocks featured on the show included Okta, Inc. (NASDAQ:OKTA), chosen by Malcolm Ethridge of Capital Area Planning Group. Morgan Stanley analyst Meta Marshall maintained an Overweight rating on Okta and raised the price target from $200 to $245 on September 29.
Amy Raskin, CIO at Chevy Chase Trust, recommended Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ:CGNX). Cognex recently agreed to acquire RealSense for about $500 million, expanding into the robotic perception market. Additionally, Jim Lebenthal of Cerity Partners suggested Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE:DAL) ahead of its third-quarter earnings report, expected on October 9.
