Nvidia Pledges Billions for OpenAI's Ohio Data Center Campus

Nvidia has agreed to spend as much as $105 billion to support OpenAI's massive new data center campus in Ohio.

The project, which is set to be leased by ChatGPT maker OpenAI, will provide up to roughly 8 gigawatts of computing capacity.

A single gigawatt is enough to power as many as 750,000 US homes at any given time.

The first phase of the project is expected to come online by 2028, with 800 megawatts of computing capacity initially available.
