Nvidia Prepares for Next Wave of AI Growth Amid Record Earnings
Nvidia's (NASDAQ:NVDA) rise to AI dominance has been a remarkable journey. The company's early bet on AI, made about 10 years ago, paid off as its graphics processing unit (GPU) expertise became a crucial tool for the industry.
The GPU's design was focused on AI, allowing Nvidia to develop key relationships with customers and build a solid reputation. The company's pledge to update GPUs annually has also contributed to its leadership in this market.
Nvidia's earnings have soared to record levels, with revenue climbing over 100% to $96 billion in the latest quarter, and profit surging by triple digits to $59 billion.
In a recent announcement, Nvidia chief Jensen Huang stated that the company will double its chip sales next year compared to this year. This follows Nvidia's first-ever forecast for full-year revenue, which predicts a 70% year-over-year gain in the next fiscal year.
