Nvidia RTX Spark N1X Launch Set for October: A New Player in the Windows PC Market

Nvidia has confirmed that its RTX Spark N1X platform will launch in October 2026, marking the company's first serious attempt to sell a full CPU-and-GPU platform directly into the Windows PC market. The RTX Spark N1X will be available in two configurations, with the top-end design pairing a 20-core Nvidia Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU carrying 6,144 CUDA cores.

The second configuration steps down to an 18-core Grace CPU and a Blackwell RTX GPU with 5,120 CUDA cores. Both configurations support between 24GB and 128GB of unified memory. The platform will be available in laptops and compact desktops from six launch-day manufacturers, including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI.

Nvidia's DGX Spark AI workstations use the same Grace Blackwell superchip design, but run a Linux-based operating system rather than Windows. The RTX Spark N1X is designed to deliver up to one petaflop of AI compute at its top-end configuration.
