Nvidia Corp., the leader in AI chip technology, has started exporting its H200 processors into mainland China, marking a significant step towards reviving business in the country.

According to Seeking Alpha, which cited a Financial Times source, Tencent and ByteDance have received approximately 10,000 H200 chips in recent weeks. Several other Chinese tech companies may soon receive similar shipments.

The H200 is still lagging behind Nvidia's most powerful chips, which remain restricted under U.S. export prohibitions. However, the exports are crucial as Nvidia has over 500,000 H200 chips stockpiled, with a substantial portion targeted for Chinese customers.
