Nvidia Stock Predicted to Hit $2681 in Four Years
Nvidia's stock price may seem unpredictable, but one thing is clear - it has been a consistent performer over the past year. Despite quarterly results that have often led to an immediate drop in share price, Nvidia's stock has still managed to beat the S&P 500 with a growth of 25% over the past 12 months.
The company's valuation metrics, however, tell a different story. Its trailing price-to-sales (P/S) ratio is currently at 17.8, significantly lower than its five-year average of 25.4 and forward P/S ratio of 13. This has led one analyst to predict that Nvidia's share price will continue to rise over the next four years.
According to this prediction, a single share of Nvidia is currently trading at $220.70. Therefore, it would be possible to buy five shares today for just under $1,104.
The predicted value of these five shares by 2030 is significantly higher than their current price. If Nvidia's valuation returns to its historical average, the company's revenue will jump 70% in fiscal 2028, with further gains in future years, according to CEO Jensen Huang. Using a conservative estimate of $536.28 per share by 2028, and accounting for potential setbacks and fears of an AI bubble, it is predicted that five Nvidia shares will be worth at least $2,681.41 by 2030.
