Nvidia Stock Soars to Record High Amid AI Growth Frenzy
Nvidia's stock price surged to a record high of $237.55 on Friday, pushing its market value to approximately $5.7 trillion.
The chipmaker's AI infrastructure growth has been driving investor demand, with the company's recent financial results showing strong quarterly revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% from last year, and Data Center revenue increasing by 117% to $89 billion.
Nvidia expects its fiscal third-quarter revenue to reach around $108 billion, while also returning about $26 billion to shareholders through buybacks and dividends during the quarter.
However, investors are also weighing the company's lead in AI infrastructure against rising competition from rival chipmakers and the growing use of custom processors by large technology companies.
