Nvidia Surges Amid Oil Price Rally, US Stocks Set for Gap-Down Open
US stock market futures pointed to a gap-down opening on Monday, September 28, as investors focused on rising crude oil prices and increasing US Treasury yields.
The Dow Jones futures fell 0.50% to 51,894 points ahead of the open, while S&P 500 index futures dropped 0.33% to 7,778.25 points.
Nvidia shares surged around 2% during pre-market hours after the company announced a $150 billion increase in its share buyback program, bringing the total program to $235 billion.
