Nvidia Unleashes $100 Billion Buyback Firepower Amid Chip Shortage
Nvidia has unlocked nearly $100 billion in buyback firepower, and its demand for chips continues to outstrip supply through 2028.
The company's latest capital return program expansion adds to its long-term investment case, according to analysts.
Nvidia's management said that 'NVIDIA Compute is fully utilized across every cloud we serve,' and expects supply to remain a bottleneck at least through the end of fiscal year 2028.
The company has returned $26 billion in buybacks and dividends so far this year, exceeding its plan to return 50% or more of free cash flow.
