Nvidia Unleashes Record-Breaking $235 Billion Stock Buyback
Nvidia, the chipmaker behind the AI boom, has added $150 billion to its massive stock buyback program. This brings the total remaining amount authorized to a staggering $235 billion.
The move follows a company report last month that its revenue more than doubled to $96.22 billion for the quarter ended in July.
Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, said the growth is being driven by 'a once-in-a-generation platform shift to AI and accelerated computing.'
The chipmaker's stock price has skyrocketed amid the artificial intelligence boom, making it the most valuable public company in the world with a market capitalization of about $5 trillion.
