Nvidia Unveils $150 Billion Share Buyback Expansion

Nvidia's board has approved an additional $150 billion in share buybacks, increasing its total repurchase authorization to $235 billion.

The expanded stock buyback program will be executed through Nvidia's fiscal year ending January 30, 2028.

Celebrating the move, CEO Jensen Huang cited strong cash generation and a 'once-in-a-generation platform shift to AI and accelerated computing' as driving factors behind the decision.

The company's high-end chips are crucial components for artificial intelligence applications, fueling stellar recent revenue. Quarterly profits reached $59.69 billion recently.
