Nvidia has announced a $500 billion financing initiative aimed at alleviating concerns over an AI bubble. The program, which was unveiled on Monday, August 10, is designed to provide financing for AI startups and companies that use Nvidia's chips, Bloomberg reported on Friday, August 14.

The initiative is part of a broader effort by Nvidia to expand its customer base beyond hyperscalers, some of which are developing their own components. It also seeks to demonstrate that major Wall Street firms are committed to arranging financing for chip deals and to ease investors' concerns about circular financing.

Nvidia's partners in the initiative include Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR. The partnerships remain subject to the execution of final agreements.

The initiative will involve the establishment of independent compute platforms designed to mobilize over $500 billion of third-party capital for the buildout of AI infrastructure. Nvidia and its partners will work together to create dedicated pools of capital at scale at attractive rates for Nvidia customers.
