NVIDIA Updates Game Ready Driver for Modern Warfare 4 and More
NVIDIA has launched a new GeForce Game Ready driver (version 617.42) designed to enhance performance for several upcoming and recently released games. The driver is optimized for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Sim Update 7, STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, and Valor Mortis. Players can download it through NVIDIA’s official website or the NVIDIA app.
The update also highlights a range of games that now support NVIDIA’s DLSS technologies. 007 First Light received an update with DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction and Path Tracing, alongside new content. DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered, which launched on October 1, features DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution support. Gears of War: E-Day, available today, includes DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, Frame Generation, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, RTX Mega Geometry, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing features.
STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, also out today, supports DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and Ray Reconstruction. On October 8, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will launch with native support for DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation. Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen arrives on October 9, introducing new zones and dungeons, along with updated DLSS and Frame Generation support. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will receive its seventh major update on October 13, adding new content and upgrading DLSS and Frame Generation features.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will open its campaign to pre-order customers on October 16, with the full game launching a week later. All modes in the game support DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, and ray traced reflections.
