NVIDIA Updates Game Ready Driver for Modern Warfare 4 and More

NVIDIA has launched a new GeForce Game Ready driver (version 617.42) tailored for several upcoming and recently released games, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, and STAR WARS: Galactic Racer. The driver is also optimized for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Valor Mortis, ensuring enhanced performance and compatibility. Users can download the update through NVIDIA’s official website or via the NVIDIA app.

The press release also highlights a range of PC games that have recently received updates or are set to launch with support for NVIDIA’s DLSS technologies. 007 First Light was updated with DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, new missions, and additional content. DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered, released on October 1, supports DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution. Gears of War: E-Day, available since October 2, features DLSS 4.5, Frame Generation, and other advanced ray-tracing features, with NVIDIA reporting a 7.5X performance increase at 4K under certain settings.

STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, out today, includes DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and hardware-accelerated ray traced Lumen lighting. Other upcoming titles like Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival (October 8) and Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen (October 9) will also feature DLSS 4.5 updates. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 receives its 7th major update on October 13, adding new features and upgrading DLSS Super Resolution to 4.5. Finally, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will open its campaign to pre-order customers on October 16, with full launch scheduled for the following week, supporting DLSS 4.5 and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.
