Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 System Now Available on CoreWeave Cloud Platform

CoreWeave has announced that its cloud platform is now offering the Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 system. This latest generation of Nvidia hardware was first made available to customers in early September by Cognition, who saw up to a 4.8x increase in total token throughput for their SWE-2 inference workloads.

The NVL72 system includes six chips: the NVLink 6 Switch, ConnectX-9 SuperNIC, BlueField-4 DPU, and Spectrum-6 Ethernet Switch, as well as the Vera CPU and Rubin GPU. The latter is capable of achieving 5x and 3.5x inference and training performance, respectively, compared to Blackwell.

The platform's availability marks a significant milestone for CoreWeave, which has traditionally focused on offering access to GPUs. The company plans to offer the Vera CPU as a standalone offering in the coming weeks, with some customers already having had early access.
