Nvidia Wins Big with Exclusive SpaceX Deal

Nvidia's stock got a boost from Elon Musk after he revealed that SpaceX's AI computing cluster, Colossus 2, will nearly double its use of Nvidia graphics processing units (GPUs) by year-end.

The update came in a post on Musk's X platform, where he stated that the current 110,000 Nvidia GB200 chips and 440,000 GB300s would be joined by an additional 220,000 GB300 chips next week, with another 220,000 GPUs arriving in November.

Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform has been chosen as the best architecture for SpaceX, and Musk expressed hope that another 220,000 GB300s could arrive in late December, 'if we get lucky.'

This news follows Musk's earlier statement that Nvidia would be exclusively used by SpaceX moving forward.
