Nvidia's $1 Trillion Cash Pile Sparks Investment Conundrum

Nvidia's massive cash reserves have investors pondering what to do next. The company is expected to accumulate over $1 trillion in cash by fiscal 2031, while still increasing capital expenditures, strategic investments, dividends, and share repurchases.

According to a model that assumes revenue growth moderates to 15% by fiscal 2031, gross margin settles near 72.5%, and non-GAAP EPS reaches nearly $30, Nvidia's cash reserves will continue to grow exponentially.

However, buying back shares would have limited impact due to the company's massive market capitalization of over $5.4 trillion, making it prohibitively expensive to retire a meaningful percentage of shares.
