Nvidia's $150 Billion Buyback Fails to Lift Stock Above $136
Nvidia has announced a record-breaking $150 billion share buyback program, more than doubling its total repurchase capacity to approximately $235 billion.
The move initially sent Nvidia's stock above $133, but buyers have struggled to sustain levels above $136, suggesting that rising expectations may be outpacing the company's ability to absorb new risks.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has outlined ambitious growth projections, including a potential doubling of chip sales in 2027 and revenue growth of around 70% in fiscal 2028.
However, this aggressive forecast raises concerns that Nvidia may be vulnerable to weaker guidance, slower infrastructure deployments, or any moderation in customer spending.
