Nvidia's upcoming second-quarter results and its recent commitment to backstopping OpenAI are drawing attention from analysts at Bank of America.

According to a report by Chris Ciaccia, SA News Editor, Nvidia (NVDA) has a 'compelling valuation' and is trading at a significant discount to its free cash flow.

The bank cited Nvidia's AI bets, including its partnership with OpenAI, as a key factor in its undervalued status. As part of this deal, Nvidia committed $105B to backstopping the company.

Bank of America analyst Justin Sullivan/Getty Images News emphasized that 'the strategic intent is clear: NVDA is committed to the transformational shift towards AI.'
