Nvidia's China Sales Forecast Faces Test at Upcoming US-China Summit
Nvidia's forecast for its fiscal third quarter assumes no data center compute revenue from China.
The company guided for $108.0 billion of revenue in late August, with a footnote indicating it is not assuming any data center compute revenue from China in its outlook.
This means that Nvidia would need to grow its data center business by about 89% from the prior-year quarter's $57.0 billion to reach this target.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is reportedly among the tech executives expected at a state dinner at the White House on Thursday, September 24, where President Donald Trump hosts Chinese President Xi Jinping with artificial intelligence (AI) as one of the main topics on the agenda.
