Nvidia's DLSS 5 Fails on RTX 30 Series GPUs

Nvidia's leaked DLSS 5 files have been modded to run on RTX 30 series GPUs, but results are disappointing.

One gamer tested Deep Rock Galactic with an RTX 3080 and saw a performance drop of over 97%, from 138 FPS to just 4 FPS.

Other users have reported similar drops in performance for Flight Simulator 2020 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, with DLSS 5 causing frame rates to plummet.

Nvidia's RTX 40 and 50 series GPUs may have higher AI capabilities than older models, which could explain why DLSS 5 struggles on RTX 30 series cards.
