Nvidia's Explosive Growth Ignites Investor Interest
Nvidia's Q2 numbers have left investors stunned, with revenue growing by over 106% to $96 billion. This represents a massive scale-up from just five years ago, when Nvidia generated $6.5 billion in quarterly revenue.
The company's data centre division has been the driving force behind this growth, increasing by 117% and now accounting for 89% of Nvidia's total revenue. The edge computing segment grew by 27%, generating $7.2 billion in revenue.
Nvidia's financials are equally impressive, with gross margins at 75% and net margins at an extraordinary 62%. Free cash flow has grown by 59% to $21.3 billion, reflecting the company's strong profitability.
Despite these outstanding metrics, Nvidia trades at only 23 times next year's expected earnings, which is relatively close to the market average. This presents an opportunity for investors to build a position in the company, particularly given its track record of delivering impressive growth and returns.
