Nvidia is currently the largest company in the world by market capitalization, worth over $5 trillion.
The company has had a bit of a rocky year, barely keeping pace with the S&P 500 in terms of growth. Both are up 17.6% over the past year, but investors may be worried that Nvidia's high-growth days are behind it.
Massive companies can still grow further, as seen with Apple, which doubled in size and reached a $2 trillion valuation in just two years after becoming the first U.S. company to reach a $1 trillion valuation in 2018.
