Nvidia's Path to $7 Trillion: A Roadmap to Reaching Market Value Milestone
Nvidia's market value has reached $5.45 trillion, but reaching $7 trillion would require significant growth.
The gap between $5.45 trillion and $7 trillion is nearly $1.55 trillion, which is roughly the market value of Broadcom.
Nvidia's latest results show revenue growing at 106% year-over-year in the fiscal second quarter, with the data center business making up $89 billion of the total.
The company forecasts revenue to rise by 70% in fiscal 2028, which would put it around $700 billion. Analysts' consensus already has fiscal 2027 revenue coming in around $412 billion, and growing that by 70% puts fiscal 2028 at around $700 billion.
Nvidia's stock costs around 14 times forward earnings today, using analysts' fiscal 2028 estimates, but could reach $290 per share if the market prices those earnings the way it does Broadcom's. This would put Nvidia's price-to-earnings multiple at around 18, which is similar to Broadcom's.
