NvidiaWatch Project Reveals 507 Bugs in Two-Year Driver Release Period
An enthusiast has created an open-source project called NvidiaWatch to monitor and catalog NVIDIA software issues. The project collects data from official release notes for Game Ready and Studio driver releases, logging each reported issue until it is fixed by developers.
During a two-year period from October 2022 to September 2026, the author analyzed 88 driver releases, recording 507 bugs in total. Of these, 90% have been successfully fixed by NVIDIA, while 52 issues remain active.
The NvidiaWatch interface provides users with tools for sorting and filtering information, including searching for specific games, applications, software versions, and NVIDIA's internal bug IDs. Visual graphs are also generated to show the ratio of fixed to actual bugs for each individual release.
