Nykredit A S Acquires New Stake in 3M Company

Nykredit A S has made a significant investment in 3M Company (NYSE:MMM), acquiring 119,755 new shares valued at approximately $19.39 million. This purchase was disclosed in a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

According to the SEC document, Nykredit A S acquired these shares during the second quarter of this year.

This is not an isolated instance, as several other large investors have also made significant changes to their positions in 3M. Brown Lisle Cummings Inc., for example, raised its stake by 8.3% during the same period, while Corient Private Wealth LP increased its holdings by 2.0%. Amundi boosted its position by a substantial 67.0%, and Wellington Grp LLC also made significant additions to its portfolio.

As of now, 65.25% of 3M's shares are owned by institutional investors.
