Ohio Company Sues Woman Over Scathing 1-Star Google Review

Starr Manufacturing Inc., an Ohio company based in Vienna Township, has filed a lawsuit against a woman from Columbus over a scathing 1-star Google review. According to reports, the company claims that the woman published malicious and false accusations against it in March.

The lawsuit states that the company has suffered damages including expenses, reputational harm, and special damages due to the review. Starr Manufacturing Inc. is seeking compensatory and punitive damages exceeding $25,000, as well as attorney fees and litigation costs.

The woman has allegedly published 11 Google reviews, with one from this year and others dating back more than six years. The company is concerned that she will continue to post the false allegations online.
