Olaf Draws! Brings Animation Lessons to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Olaf Draws! has opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios, offering guests the chance to learn about animation from Disney experts. The experience is located in The Magic of Disney Animation and features Audio-Animatronic Olaf welcoming visitors into a space inspired by his memorable moments from Once Upon A Studio.

The gallery outside the class area shows when the next session takes place and which character guests will be drawing. Inside, guests find a large screen next to Olaf's desk where they can see the animator at work. The desks are designed based on those used by Kem Weber for the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank in 1939.

Guests receive a pencil and drawing page branded with 'The Magic of Disney Animation.' Olaf introduces himself, asks questions about animation, and then an animator appears on-screen to share some history and lead the lesson. Each class features a different character, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Moana.

The Eric Goldberg version of the show pays homage to the original The Magic of Disney Animation with clips from Back to Neverland. After guests finish drawing, Olaf shows off his own creation on screen.
