Olivia's Cafe Abandons Brunch for Separate Breakfast and Lunch Menus

The popular Olivia's Cafe at Disney World's Old Key West Resort is making some significant changes. Starting October 6, 2026, the restaurant will no longer offer brunch, instead serving separate breakfast and lunch menus.

Brunch was added to Olivia's Cafe around 2017-2018, initially offered only on weekends before expanding to weekdays due to its popularity with guests and DVC members. The last day for brunch at Olivia's Cafe is October 5, 2026, after which the restaurant will serve breakfast from 7:30 am to 11:00 am, lunch from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, and dinner from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The exact reasons behind this change are unclear, but a likely factor is that Walt Disney World may be aiming for higher profitability by offering simpler menus. Breakfast is often considered a more profitable meal option than brunch, which typically offers a wider range of dishes.
