Oman Air Expands Cargo Network with Five New Routes

Oman Air has expanded its cargo network by launching five new routes within a week. The airline aims to strengthen connectivity across key Asian markets and support the efficient movement of time-sensitive shipments.

The new services include flights from Muscat to Singapore, Tashkent, Sochi, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai. Oman Air Cargo will operate these routes using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

Muscat-Tashkent service will operate twice weekly, while the new Muscat-Singapore service will run four times a week. The airline also introduced a weekly service to Sochi, daily flights to Abu Dhabi, and three weekly flights between Dubai and Salalah.

The expansion is expected to support increased trade in perishables and other time-critical commodities between Oman and the Central Asian market. Oman Air's head of cargo, Michael Duggan, said that the additions further expand the airline's perishables capability, a key objective in response to its expanding customer base.
