Omnicom Advertising Gets New Leader Amid Strong Performance

Troy Ruhanen has retired as president and CEO of Omnicom Advertising after more than two decades at the company. Ruhanen was instrumental in uniting the combined organization following its merger with Interpublic (IPG) and enhancing client services. He reflected on his proud tenure, stating it had been a privilege to work alongside talented individuals.

Andrew Robertson has taken over as CEO of Omnicom Advertising, effective immediately. A seasoned executive with extensive experience at Omnicom, Robertson will collaborate with Ruhanen during the transition period. John Wren, chairman and CEO of Omnicom, expressed confidence in Robertson's leadership capabilities.

The leadership change coincides with a strong performance period for Omnicom Advertising's agencies. The group has recently secured new clients, including Subway, American Express, and BBVA. Its creative networks have also achieved recognition at Cannes Lions.
