Oppenheimer Lifts MSFT Price Target to $570 on Strong AI Growth
Financial analysts at Oppenheimer have raised their price target for Microsoft (MSFT) to $570, citing strong growth in the company's AI capabilities. This is a significant increase from their previous target of $515, which was set just a few days ago.
The upgrade comes on the heels of a recent meeting between Oppenheimer analysts and Microsoft executives at the company's headquarters. According to Oppenheimer, Microsoft's acceleration with its capital discipline thesis remains intact, driven by strong growth in Azure and M365 commercial revenue.
The firm notes that customers are increasingly standardizing on Microsoft as their primary enterprise AI platform, and that efficiency gains and capital discipline are key focuses for the company. As a result, Oppenheimer expects more predictable capital expenditures and positive free cash flow this year, unlike some of its hyperscaler peers.
