P&G Achieves Zero Scope 2 Emissions Through Renewable Energy Certificates
Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Limited (P&G) has reported zero Scope 2 emissions for its fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. The company achieved this milestone through the application of Renewable Energy Certificates.
In its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR), P&G disclosed a turnover of ₹4,290 crore and a net worth of ₹754 crore for FY26. Sanitary napkins accounted for 65% of its product mix, while healthcare products contributed 33%. The company exported to 14 countries, with exports making up only 3.19% of its total turnover.
P&G also highlighted its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) through its flagship program P&G Shiksha, which has impacted over 1 crore children since its inception in 2005. The company employed 241 permanent employees and 471 workers as of March 31, 2026, with women representing 36% of permanent employees and 4% of workers.
The record date for the company's 62nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) has been set for September 1, 2026. Shareholders holding units on this date will be entitled to participate in the proceedings and receive any declared dividend. If approved by shareholders at the AGM, the dividend payments will be disbursed by October 6, 2026.
