Procter & Gamble has agreed to acquire Thorne for $3.8 billion, according to CEO David Taylor.

The deal is part of Procter & Gamble's strategy to expand its presence in the health and wellness market. Thorne is a leading provider of nutritional supplements and other health products.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and other customary closing conditions. The terms of the deal were not disclosed further by Procter & Gamble.
