P&G Health Profit Jumps 45% on One-Time Property Sale Gain
Procter & Gamble Health Limited reported a significant surge in its net profit for Q1FY27, driven largely by a one-time gain from selling office premises. The company's net profit rose 45% year-over-year to ₹961.5 million, with revenue from operations increasing by 7.4% to ₹3,637.1 million.
The exceptional gain of ₹318 million from the sale of its Worli office premises was a major contributor to the net profit increase. Excluding this one-time gain, core profitability remained relatively flat compared to the previous year.
Procter & Gamble Health's pharmaceutical segment saw steady organic growth, with revenue rising 7.4% to ₹3,637.1 million. However, the company's core net profit before exceptional items fell by 2.8% to ₹643.5 million.
