P&G Hygiene Sets Record Date for AGM and Dividend Payment
Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Limited has set September 1 as the record date for its 62nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and dividend payment. This date defines which shareholders are eligible to attend the meeting and receive any declared dividend.
The 62nd AGM is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Shareholders holding units on the record date will be entitled to participate in the proceedings. If the Board approves a dividend during the meeting, payments will be disbursed to eligible members by October 6, 2026.
The company's financial performance for Q1FY26 saw a 34% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹126 crore (₹126.27 crore) due to rising costs and increased ad spend despite a 5% revenue decline. Revenue from operations contracted 5% to ₹891.46 crore, while EBITDA margin compressed sharply to 19.1% from 28.4%, reflecting significant operational pressure amidst strategic investments in innovation and advertising.
