P&G Mobilizes Volunteers for Community Service Day

Procter & Gamble (P&G) is giving back to its community in Guilford County, North Carolina. On August 3, 2026, P&G announced plans for its annual Community Service Day, a two-day volunteer effort that will see over 1,100 employees participate in various service projects.

The volunteers will work on more than 25 hands-on projects, including park beautification and painting, preparing non-perishable meal kits for those in need, and spending time with local seniors. P&G has partnered with organizations such as Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc., United Way of Greater Greensboro, and Guilford County Schools to make this event possible.

In addition to the volunteer efforts, P&G is also donating $75,000 to Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc. The donation will support free community programming in Center City Park and LeBauer Park. In recognition of this generous gift, GDPI will name the P&G Oval Lawn in Center City Park.
