P&G Proposes Two Solar Farms in Morris
Procter & Gamble has proposed constructing two solar farms on its property near Airport Road and Route 47 in Morris, Illinois.
The company presented plans for a ground-mounted behind-the-meter solar farm and a community solar farm to the Morris Development Review Committee (DRC).
According to City Planner Mike Hoffman, the DRC initially opposed the solar farm idea but eventually approved both site plans. However, Procter & Gamble still needs to obtain approval from the Morris City Council for other aspects.
The next city council meeting is scheduled for September 21st.
