P&G Raises Dividend Despite Slowing Earnings Growth and Higher Costs
Procter & Gamble (PG) raised its quarterly dividend to $1.09 in fiscal 2026, up from $1.06 across four straight quarters and $1.01 the year before that.
The company plans to pay over $10 billion in dividends again in fiscal 2027 as part of a $15 billion total shareholder return plan.
CFO Andre Schulten broke down the figure, noting that over $10 billion will be paid out in dividends and $5 billion will go towards share buybacks, matching guidance given at the start of the year.
However, this commitment comes against a tougher backdrop, with core earnings per share growth guided to just 0% to 3% for fiscal 2027, off a fiscal 2026 base of $6.89, with $7 at the center of the range.
