P&G Stock Steady After Modest Q2 Growth
Procter & Gamble stock continued to hold firm after releasing its July results. The company's adjusted earnings per share (EPS) came in at $1.43, while quarterly revenue reached $21.20 billion.
The quarter saw a net margin of 18.44 percent, with revenue increasing by 1.5 percent from the same period last year. EPS was slightly lower than the previous year's $1.48.
Despite this modest growth, Procter & Gamble remains a large-cap defensive name with a market value above $336 billion.
