P3 Group Earns Google Accreditation for Next-Gen Android Auto Projection Certification

P3 Group, an independent technology consulting firm, has been accredited by Google as a 3PL Certification Partner for Android Auto™ Projection (AAP) systems. This accreditation allows P3 to certify AAP solutions and products on Google's behalf, ensuring they meet the company's rigorous standards for global deployment in vehicles.

The accreditation makes P3 one of the first partners certified to validate solutions against the newest AAP 2.0 standards. This updated program aims to deliver higher technical rigor and excellence, streamlining certification processes and accelerating time to market for automakers and system providers.

Marius Mailat, CTO of P3, highlighted the growing demand for always-on connectivity in vehicles, stating that automakers and their partners are responding with innovative AAP solutions. The expanded accreditation follows P3's October 2024 appointment as a certification partner for in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems within the Android Automotive ecosystem.
