Pampers Swaddlers Goes Full-Fragrance-Free Across All Sizes

Pampers Swaddlers has made a significant change to its products by going fragrance-free. As of June 2026, every size and count of Pampers Swaddlers will no longer contain added fragrances.

This decision was influenced by years of feedback from parents who expressed concerns about the potential impact of fragrances on their baby's skin. Procter & Gamble, the manufacturer of Pampers, has stated that they have always put parents at the center of their decisions and listened to their concerns.

The change is not limited to just the standard Swaddlers line; even the NICU diapers, which are designed for babies in neonatal intensive care units, will now be fragrance-free as well. This update aims to provide a safer option for parents who have children with sensitive skin or eczema.

The American Academy of Dermatology notes that 'fragrance free' is not the same as 'unscented.' Unscented products can still contain fragrances masked by other ingredients, whereas fragrance-free means no fragrance chemicals are added. This distinction is crucial for babies with sensitive skin, as fragrances are a common eczema trigger.
