Pantene Cream to Mist Launch a Step Forward for Procter & Gamble
Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG) has launched Pantene Cream to Mist, a new co-created leave-in spray designed for various hair types. The product is the result of a partnership with certified trichologist Abbey Yung and aims to deliver cream-level nourishment while providing heat protection up to 450°F.
The launch is seen as directionally helpful for the Beauty segment but is unlikely to shift group level earnings drivers in the short term. Procter & Gamble's broader push on product superiority and R&D, including AI-supported tools like the molecular discovery suite, underpins how the company refreshes brands and defends shelf space.
The key question for shareholders is whether launches like Cream to Mist can scale enough to support modest organic growth while productivity programs absorb input cost headwinds. Procter & Gamble's narrative projects $94.5 billion in revenue and $18.2 billion in earnings by 2029, implying an earnings increase of about $2.4 billion from $15.8 billion today.
