Paramount Taps Former Google Execs to Boost Tech Powerhouse Ambitions
Paramount Pictures is making significant moves to strengthen its technology and product capabilities. The company has recently hired two former Google executives, Nick Lee and Suzanne Pellican, as executive vice presidents (EVPs).
Nick Lee, who spent nearly 17 years at Google in various engineering roles, will lead the media systems strategy for Paramount. He was previously a corporate vice president of Microsoft AI. Suzanne Pellican, who has over eight years of experience at Google, mostly recently as VP of ads user experience, is now head of design at Paramount. She also spent 14 years at Intuit.
The hires reflect an increased investment and focus in Paramount's products business. According to a memo from Dane Glasgow, product chief at Paramount, the new roles will build on the company's existing world-class Product & Tech team while driving renewed focus and investment around critical capabilities that advance strategic priorities.
