Pentagon Bolsters Missile Interceptor Production with Boeing and RTX Deals

The Pentagon has announced framework agreements with Boeing and RTX to boost production of critical components for missile interceptors.

The agreements will strengthen the production of SM-3 Block IIA and SM-3 Block IB munitions, which are used in the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System. The Pentagon stated that these components are crucial to the system's operation.

The deals were announced on August 14th by the Pentagon.
