Peoria TT: Daniels Seeks Victory, Bauman Aims for Fourth Win
The 79th Caterpillar Peoria TT is just around the corner, and the competition is heating up. This iconic event, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, has been a staple of global motorsport for decades. The Peoria Motorcycle Club hosts the race on Saturday, August 22nd, and fans can expect world-class action within the natural amphitheater.
Reigning champion Dallas Daniels is currently leading the Grand National Championship points, but he still needs to secure his victory at the Peoria TT. With just three races left in the season, Daniels holds a 13-point lead over Kody Kopp and a 16-point lead over Briar Bauman.
Bauman, however, has been dominant at Peoria, winning three times since 2017. He'll look to add a fourth victory to his collection and draw closer to a potential third Grand National Championship. But Daniels won't go down without a fight, having grown up in nearby Mattoon, Illinois, and breaking through with a maiden professional victory as a KICKER AFT Singles rookie in 2019.
