Perspective Therapeutics Teams Up with Merck on Cancer Trial Collaboration
Perspective Therapeutics Inc., a radiopharmaceutical development company, has announced a clinical trial collaboration agreement with Merck to evaluate the combination of its targeted alpha-particle therapy [212Pb]PSV359 with Merck's Keytruda (pembrolizumab).
The study will test the safety and tolerability of various doses of [212Pb]PSV359 in patients with certain types of non-small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer that express fibroblast activation protein alpha (FAP-α). The combination will be tested under an amendment to Perspective's ongoing Phase 1/2a study.
Perspective is sponsoring the study, while Merck is providing pembrolizumab at no cost. The primary objective of the dose finding phase is to assess the safety and tolerability of various doses of [212Pb]PSV359 to determine the recommended Phase 2 dose for the expansion phase.
